Aureol Global Connections is seeking skilled Injection Molding Technicians for placement in Ireland. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding equipment and automation systems to ensure efficient production, high product quality, and minimal machine downtime.

This role is ideal for experienced technicians with expertise in Engel molding machines, automation systems, and high-volume manufacturing environments.

INJECTION MOLDING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Injection Molding Technician, Automation Technician, or in a similar role.
  • Experience with In-Mold Labeling (IML) systems.
  • Experience operating and maintaining Engel injection molding machines.
  • Experience with Brink automation systems.
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on, practical problem solver with a strong technical mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and associated automation equipment.
  • Operate and support Engel injection molding machines to ensure optimal production performance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Brink automation systems and In-Mold Labeling (IML) equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molding machines and automation systems.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment performance issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and technical development within the production environment.
