Qumreya Operation and Maintenance Company is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a food production manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure that HVAC and refrigeration systems operate efficiently to maintain optimal environmental conditions required for food safety, production processes, and employee comfort while minimizing equipment downtime.

HVAC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Diploma in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in a food production manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and HVAC control system problems.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspection procedures.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in manufacturing environments and confined mechanical spaces when required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and emergency call-outs when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, ventilation systems, ductwork, exhaust systems, and air conditioning units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in HVAC equipment.
• Monitor system performance and adjust controls to maintain required temperature, humidity, and air quality levels within production areas.
• Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors, pumps, thermostats, and control panels for proper operation.
• Replace defective components such as motors, belts, bearings, filters, valves, thermostats, and electrical parts.
• Perform routine cleaning and servicing of HVAC equipment to improve efficiency and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment service logs.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime during repairs and servicing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, preventive maintenance schedules, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Follow workplace health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations at all times.
• Ensure proper handling and recovery of refrigerants in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests involving HVAC systems.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new HVAC equipment when required.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by supervisors.
