HVAC Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in low-current systems and fire alarm installations.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), detectors, pull stations, and alarm sounders.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, electrical layouts, and technical schematics.
- Experience in low-voltage cable installation, conduit routing, and wiring terminations.
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.
- Knowledge of fire safety standards, building codes, and installation procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in construction or project environments.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Study architectural and electrical layouts to determine proper placement of fire alarm system components.
- Install Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), detectors, manual pull stations, alarm sounders, and related devices.
- Route conduits or trunking systems and pull low-voltage cables according to project specifications.
- Perform wiring terminations and ensure proper cable management and labeling.
- Conduct continuity tests, loop testing, and ground fault troubleshooting to verify system functionality.
- Perform testing and commissioning activities to ensure fire alarm systems operate correctly during emergencies.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire alarm and low-current systems.
- Ensure all installation and testing activities comply with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate installation, testing, and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
