HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or in a similar role.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying housekeeping supplies.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive daily work assignments, room keys, and housekeeping supplies from the supervisor and accurately sign the key logbook.
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and related areas according to hotel standards.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture and fixtures, and maintain the cleanliness of all room surfaces.
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liners, replenish guest amenities, towels, linens, and other room supplies.
• Make beds, change linens, and ensure guest rooms are properly prepared for arrival and occupancy.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost-and-found property following hotel procedures.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials are used safely and stored properly.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
