HOSTESS

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience as a Hostess, Restaurant Host, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative is preferred.
• Experience in an upper-casual or fine-dining restaurant is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, friendly, and well-presented.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage reservations and coordinate guest seating.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy restaurant environment.
• Ability to work effectively with restaurant and hospitality teams.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, professionally, and courteously upon arrival.
• Welcome customers and create a positive first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the restaurant reservation system.
• Confirm reservations and coordinate table availability.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and present menus.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest seating and service.
• Monitor dining room capacity and assist with efficient table management.
• Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate reservation and seating records.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the appropriate restaurant personnel.
• Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
• Follow restaurant service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest’s dining experience.
• Perform other related hospitality duties as assigned.
