WAITER

Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food service establishment.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Previous experience in restaurant operations and customer service.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Pleasing personality, positive attitude, and professional behavior.
• Strong customer service skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to take orders accurately and follow restaurant service procedures.
• Good attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette, table service, and basic food hygiene is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow supervisors’ instructions.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Escort customers to their tables and provide menus when required.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and provide information about available food and beverages.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant service standards.
• Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy and proper presentation.
• Respond politely to customer requests and provide timely assistance throughout the dining experience.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address service concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and other restaurant personnel to ensure efficient order preparation and service.
• Set up tables, arrange dining areas, and ensure tableware and service items are properly prepared.
• Clear used plates, glasses, and utensils and reset tables for incoming guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, service stations, and assigned workspaces.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with menu recommendations and communicate special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately when assigned, following company cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including table setup, cleaning, and restocking service supplies.
• Report customer feedback, complaints, damaged equipment, and other service concerns to the supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with fellow waiters, kitchen staff, cashiers, and restaurant supervisors.
• Follow restaurant policies, service procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other restaurant service duties assigned by management.
