HOSTESS
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Restaurant Host, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative is preferred.
- Experience in an upper-casual or fine-dining restaurant is an advantage.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and well-presented.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage reservations and coordinate guest seating.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy restaurant environment.
- Ability to work effectively with restaurant and hospitality teams.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly, professionally, and courteously upon arrival.
- Welcome customers and create a positive first impression of the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the restaurant reservation system.
- Confirm reservations and coordinate table availability.
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and present menus.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest seating and service.
- Monitor dining room capacity and assist with efficient table management.
- Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
- Maintain accurate reservation and seating records.
- Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the appropriate restaurant personnel.
- Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
- Follow restaurant service standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest’s dining experience.
- Perform other related hospitality duties as assigned.
