Helper (Assistant Massage Therapist / Cleaner)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a spa, wellness center, massage clinic, hospitality establishment, or similar environment.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience assisting massage therapists or healthcare professionals is an advantage.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing environment for clients.
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping, lifting, and cleaning duties.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accept criticism, follow instructions, and work well under pressure.
• Professional appearance with a positive and customer-focused attitude.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed massage therapists and spa professionals during multi-step treatments and wellness services.
• Prepare treatment rooms by setting up massage tables, linens, towels, oils, and other required supplies.
• Welcome clients and assist them before and after massage or therapy sessions.
• Change bed linens, towels, robes, and other treatment materials after each client.
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect treatment rooms, massage equipment, and workstations in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Handle spa laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception areas, waiting lounges, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure adequate stock of towels, toiletries, massage supplies, and cleaning materials.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain a peaceful, organized, and hygienic clinic environment.
• Assist with moving equipment and performing other general housekeeping duties when required.
• Follow company policies on health, safety, infection control, and customer service.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
