Job Talent Belgium is seeking a skilled and proactive Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electromechanics, mechanics, or automotive engineering, with experience working on heavy machinery and vehicle electronics. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male, 25–45 years old.
• Technical degree in electromechanics, mechanics, or automotive engineering.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment machinery and vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and vehicle electronics is a significant advantage.
• Driver’s license (Category B) required.
• Attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay motivated, and adapt to dynamic work conditions.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment machinery according to safety and operational standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable machinery operation.
• Utilize knowledge of PLC systems and vehicle electronics to optimize equipment performance (advantageous).
• Work independently while taking initiative to solve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to support operational needs and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure adherence to company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
