Heavy Equipment Operator (Tractor-Trailer Driver)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant driving experience as a Heavy Tractor-Trailer Driver.
• Proven experience operating a cement train is required.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for heavy vehicle operation.
• Must have extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle operation and road safety regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of performing the duties required of a heavy vehicle driver.
• Must provide an Employment Certificate verifying relevant work experience.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and capable of driving long-distance routes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy tractor-trailer vehicles and cement trains to transport cement and other construction materials safely and efficiently.
• Drive long-distance routes while complying with traffic laws, transportation regulations, and road safety standards.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver cement and construction materials to designated locations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safe operation.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues, defects, or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and securement of transported materials during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and other required documentation.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate with maintenance personnel when repairs or servicing are required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
