FORKLIFT OPERATOR (7 TO 30 TONS)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial industries.
• Proven experience operating heavy-duty forklifts ranging from 7 to 30 tons.
• Knowledgeable in proper forklift operation, load handling, and material movement procedures.
• Good understanding of workplace safety regulations and safe operating practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing heavy-duty industrial work.
• Able to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Must demonstrate good judgment and awareness when operating heavy equipment.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures accurately.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty forklifts with capacities ranging from 7 to 30 tons to move and transport materials.
• Load and unload raw materials, finished products, machinery, equipment, and other industrial materials.
• Safely position and stack materials in designated storage and work areas.
• Transport materials between production areas, warehouses, loading bays, and other designated locations.
• Conduct routine pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Ensure loads are properly secured, balanced, and within the forklift’s rated capacity before movement.
• Follow established traffic routes, loading procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
• Operate forklifts carefully in congested manufacturing and warehouse environments.
• Maintain proper visibility and use appropriate signals when operating around workers and other equipment.
• Assist with material handling activities as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operating condition of the assigned forklift.
• Immediately report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow company policies and occupational health and safety requirements at all times.
• Perform other material handling and forklift-related duties as assigned.
