Food and Beverage Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in Food and Beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or a related field.
• Must have experience in supervising food and beverage service staff.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service standards, inventory control, and food safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams, handle customer concerns, and work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Professional appearance with strong attention to service quality and operational details.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily shift briefings, assign duties, and oversee table service to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Personally interact with guests to provide excellent customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Train, coach, schedule, and evaluate food and beverage service staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor staff grooming, uniform compliance, professionalism, and service quality during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, storage rooms, dining areas, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inventory checks, monitor stock usage, apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures, and coordinate supply requisitions to prevent shortages.
• Handle cash transactions, monitor payment processes, and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support labor cost monitoring and prepare daily or weekly operational and revenue reports for management review.
• Address customer feedback, complaints, and service concerns promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
