FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Fitness Instructor or in a similar role.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service
• Management, Hospitality/Tourism Management, or other related fields.
• CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred or may be required.
• Previous experience in a fitness club, resort, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
• Outgoing, charismatic personality with excellent motivational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of fitness training principles, exercise techniques, and gym safety practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assess guests’ fitness levels and develop personalized exercise programs based on their individual goals and abilities.
• Conduct one-on-one fitness coaching and provide guidance on proper exercise techniques.
• Orient guests on the safe and correct use of gym equipment and fitness machines.
• Motivate and encourage guests to achieve their health and fitness objectives.
• Perform daily inspections of fitness equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the fitness center.
• Report defective or malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance department promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures at all times.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while creating a positive and engaging guest experience.
