Adecco Personnel Ltd is seeking highly skilled and experienced Fabricators / Welders to join its workforce in New Zealand. Fabricator / Welder

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Metal Fabricator, Welder, or similar role.
• Proven experience in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and welding specifications.
• Skilled in metal cutting, fitting, assembly, fabrication, and structural welding.
• Experience using fabrication machinery, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Safety-conscious and knowledgeable in workplace health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work, including lifting heavy materials and working in various industrial environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, frames, components, and equipment according to engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Perform high-quality welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and ARC (SMAW) welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication plans.
• Measure, cut, bend, shape, and prepare metal materials using fabrication equipment and hand tools.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance on metal structures and equipment as required.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as grinders, drills, cutting machines, presses, and welding equipment safely.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance on welding and fabrication tools.
• Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Perform other fabrication and welding duties assigned by management.
