Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Fabricator (MIG/TIG) to fabricate, assemble, and install high-quality stainless steel and aluminium structures, including conveyors, for engineering and manufacturing projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will work in a hands-on workshop environment and must demonstrate strong welding, fabrication, drawing interpretation, and quality-control skills.
FABRICATOR (MIG/TIG)
Qualifications:
- 25–55 years old.
- Recognized qualification as a Fabricator or Metal Fabricator.
- Proven fabrication and welding experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium is highly advantageous.
- Ability to safely operate cutting, folding, and welding equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, or willingness to obtain the required certifications.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop and project-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble stainless steel and aluminium components and structures.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install conveyors and other custom-engineered equipment.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and measurements.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
- Operate cutting, folding, welding, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, fit, weld, and finish metal components according to specifications.
- Inspect completed fabrication work to ensure accuracy, quality, and dimensional requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with workshop and site teams to complete projects within required schedules.
- Assist with installation and assembly activities at project sites when required.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and appropriately.
