EXTENDABLE TRAILER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an Extendable Trailer Operator, Heavy Transport Operator, or similar role.
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in oil & gas, refineries, energy, utilities, or heavy industrial projects is a strong advantage.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as COE, employment certificates, project records, or equivalent documents.
• Physically fit and ready to meet deployment requirements.
• Strong knowledge of heavy haulage operations, load securement techniques, and transport safety regulations.
• Ability to plan routes and assess transport risks for oversized cargo.

Responsibilities:

• Operate extendable trailers to transport oversized, heavy, and specialized cargo safely and efficiently.
• Ensure cargo is properly balanced and secured using chains, binders, locks, safety pins, and heavy-duty tie-down equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of cargo securement systems before and during transport.
• Plan safe and efficient routes while considering bridge clearances, road restrictions, turning radii, and weight limitations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor cargo condition throughout transportation and address any load-related concerns immediately.
• Follow company safety procedures, transportation regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics personnel, site supervisors, escort teams, and project management during transport operations.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic, safety, and heavy-haul transportation regulations.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and maintenance requirements promptly.
