Excavator Operator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Not more than 35 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Excavator Operator or Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Experience operating excavators on construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, basic maintenance, and construction site safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working in various weather and site conditions.
• Willing and committed to learn the Japanese language (Nihongo) through the employer’s free language training program.
• Must be committed to completing the entire employment contract with the Japanese employer.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently for construction, excavation, grading, trenching, and earthmoving activities.
• Perform excavation work according to project plans, site specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the excavator to ensure proper mechanical condition.
• Perform routine maintenance checks, including monitoring fluid levels, lubricating components, and reporting equipment defects.
• Excavate, load, level, and move soil, rocks, and construction materials with precision.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Observe all workplace safety standards and operate equipment responsibly to prevent accidents.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and completed work when required.
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Perform other construction-related duties assigned by supervisors.
