ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Must have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, or Power Plant facilities.
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or a similar field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Extensive experience in electrical supervision, maintenance, troubleshooting, and site operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, safety standards, and industrial electrical practices.
- Good knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and electrical isolation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems and machinery.
- Experience in planning preventive maintenance programs for facility electrical equipment.
- Ability to estimate material requirements and prepare practical work schedules.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to guide and evaluate electricians.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills when working with project managers, contractors, builders, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to HSEQ, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in demanding industrial environments.
- Reliable, disciplined, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Assign daily tasks and work activities to electricians and electrical maintenance personnel.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor electricians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
- Evaluate team performance and provide technical guidance and support when required.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable electrical codes, regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
- Enforce electrical safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements.
- Review blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work instructions before commencing work.
- Determine manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements for electrical activities.
- Estimate electrical materials and coordinate availability for scheduled work.
- Develop work schedules and coordinate activities to meet project and maintenance deadlines.
- Diagnose major electrical system failures, machinery malfunctions, and complex electrical problems.
- Lead troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities to restore equipment and systems safely.
- Inspect electrical installations and completed work to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper quality of workmanship.
- Direct and monitor preventive maintenance programs for facility electrical equipment and systems.
- Review maintenance requirements and recommend corrective or preventive actions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Coordinate electrical maintenance and construction activities with project managers, contractors, builders, engineers, and clients on-site.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates regarding electrical work progress, issues, and requirements.
- Monitor work progress and ensure assigned activities are completed according to approved schedules.
- Ensure electricians properly use electrical tools, testing equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate electrical hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment problems and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, work progress, materials, and equipment conditions.
- Report major electrical issues, delays, safety concerns, and technical problems to management.
- Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Perform other electrical supervision and maintenance duties assigned by management.
