Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies Co. Ltd. (AWPT) is seeking experienced and technically skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineers for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will prepare, review, coordinate, and maintain electrical systems, instrumentation, and SCADA infrastructure within industrial facilities, particularly water and wastewater treatment plants.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical) or similar fields.
• Must have experience in water technologies industries and desalination plant.
• Strong technical expertise in preparing, reviewing, and coordinating all electrical engineering activities related to technical office works, design development, and project execution within water and wastewater facilities.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments specific to wastewater treatment processes to ensure accurate measurement and control of process variables.
• Familiarity with managing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for reliable plant monitoring.
• Understanding of integrating field instruments, PLC/RTU systems, communication networks, and control interfaces.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and coordinate all electrical engineering activities related to technical office works, design development, and project execution within water and wastewater facilities.
• Ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment, control systems, and power distribution networks.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems specific to wastewater treatment processes.
• Manage, configure, maintain, and optimize SCADA systems to ensure accurate monitoring and control of plant processes.
• Integrate field instruments, PLC/RTU systems, communication networks, and control interfaces to support safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, operational standards, and project timelines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, calibrate instrument control variables, and restore system functionality safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with process engineers, instrument technicians, and maintenance teams regarding electrical issues and maintenance schedules.
• Inspect electrical systems and control panels regularly to minimize downtime and maintain optimal plant performance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, asset logs, inspection records, and technical engineering documentation accurately.
