ELECTRICAL – GENERAL

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a General Electrician.
  • Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in refinery and industrial companies.
  • Must possess a Training Certificate from a recognized institution or TESDA.
  • Must have Experience Certificates from industrial companies.
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and industrial work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, communication, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Install conduits, pull wiring, and install electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Test completed electrical installations to verify proper operation and system integrity.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Coordinate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to support project completion.
