E&I Control Technician

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an E&I Control Technician or similar industrial electrical and instrumentation role.
  • Experience in installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems, electrical equipment, and process controls.
  • Previous experience in petrochemical and offshore industries is required.
  • Previous overseas work experience is preferred.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must have an updated resume and valid Certificate of Employment (COE).
  • Must possess a valid NC II Certificate.
  • Must have a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in challenging industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and control systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repair activities on electrical equipment and automation systems.
  • Test and calibrate process instruments, control devices, sensors, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and instrumentation faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical documents.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and startup activities for E&I systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, safety procedures, and industry standards.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems and electrical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technical teams to resolve system issues.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements while working in industrial environments.
