Job Location: Fiji

Mechanical Services Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced Duct Fabricator & Installer to support HVAC and mechanical projects in Fiji. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork systems according to technical drawings, project specifications, and industry standards while ensuring quality workmanship and safe work practices.

Duct Fabricator & Installer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in duct fabrication and installation or a related field.
  • Must have good English communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • HVAC systems
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Commissioning works
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Duct fabrication and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, duct layouts, and engineering specifications.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, fabrication equipment, and installation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC ductwork systems for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, duct layouts, shop drawings, and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and duct components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Install duct systems, fittings, supports, insulation, and related HVAC components according to approved plans.
  • Perform ductwork modifications, adjustments, and repairs as required during installation and commissioning stages.
  • Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and connection of duct systems to achieve efficient airflow and system performance.
  • Coordinate with HVAC engineers, technicians, and other project personnel to complete installation works efficiently.
    Conduct quality checks and ensure completed works comply with safety and project standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment while following workplace safety procedures.
