CASA NORA (House of Fashion) is seeking a highly skilled and creative Dressmaker to join its luxury fashion team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will specialize in the creation, alteration, and finishing of premium evening gowns, formal dresses, and wedding gowns. The ideal applicant has exceptional tailoring skills, expertise in cut-and-sew techniques, and a keen eye for detail to produce garments that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and elegance.

DRESSMAKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–5 years of professional experience as a Dressmaker or Tailor.
• Proven experience in tailoring luxury evening wear, formal gowns, and wedding dresses is essential.
• Expert in cut-and-sew techniques with exceptional garment construction skills.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Textile/Fashion Design & Production or a related field is preferred.
• At least a high school graduate; vocational training in Dressmaking or Tailoring is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of garment pattern interpretation, fabric cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and commitment to producing high-quality garments.
• Ability to work with delicate fabrics, intricate embellishments, and premium materials.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work efficiently under production deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have a valid passport and complete employment documents.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Create, cut, sew, alter, and finish luxury evening gowns, bridal gowns, and formal wear according to design specifications and client measurements.
• Interpret sketches, patterns, and design concepts to produce high-quality custom garments.
• Perform accurate fabric cutting using manual patterns and advanced tailoring techniques.
• Assemble garment components with precision, ensuring excellent fit, structure, and finishing.
• Conduct fittings and perform necessary alterations to achieve the desired fit and appearance.
• Select and work with a variety of luxury fabrics, lace, tulle, satin, chiffon, silk, beading, and embellishments.
• Apply hand sewing, embroidery, finishing, hemming, and decorative detailing where required.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure exceptional quality, symmetry, durability, and craftsmanship.
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, overlock machines, pressing equipment, and other tailoring tools.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area while ensuring proper handling of fabrics and materials.
• Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and production staff to meet customer requirements and production deadlines.
• Follow company quality standards and ensure garments are completed on schedule.
• Perform other tailoring and dressmaking duties assigned by management.
