Production Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience in production or manufacturing management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and quality control systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate targets clearly to production teams.
• Develop production schedules and ensure the availability of materials, equipment, manpower, and other resources required to meet production goals.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing work schedules, and monitoring employee performance.
• Supervise production personnel and ensure efficient utilization of labor and manufacturing resources.
• Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure products are manufactured in compliance with quality standards, company specifications, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering departments to support uninterrupted production operations.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and work closely with supply chain teams to prevent production delays.
• Implement and maintain workplace safety, health, environmental, and quality management standards.
• Analyze production data, prepare operational reports, and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote lean manufacturing principles where applicable.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to improve performance and maintain a high-performing team.
• Perform other production management duties assigned by senior management.
