DEMI CHEF (HOT & COLD)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of both hot and cold kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or vocational training in culinary arts preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot and cold dishes according to menu specifications and standard recipes.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, and measuring as required.
• Ensure dishes are presented consistently and attractively.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of the kitchen workstations.
• Assist senior chefs in food preparation, plating, and portion control.
• Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs of shortages.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards in all kitchen operations.
• Assist in daily kitchen operations, including equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
