CRANE OPERATOR / MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• With 3 to 5 years relevant work experience operating mobile cranes and heavy equipment.
• Must possess a heavy vehicle driver’s license.
• Skilled in performing repair and maintenance of cranes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts to determine lifting capacities and ensure safe operations.
• Knowledgeable in crane safety procedures, lifting operations, and equipment inspections.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and outdoor environments.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow operational and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate mobile cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment.
• Conduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections of cranes and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of crane systems and mechanical components.
• Interpret load charts and ensure lifting activities comply with safety limits and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, and ground personnel during lifting operations.
• Monitor crane performance and report defects or operational issues immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of cranes, tools, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep accurate maintenance, inspection, and operational records.
• Support site operations and assist with other mechanical or equipment-related duties when required.

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: 175,000 VATU
