CRANE & LIFTING OPERATOR
Equipment Types Covered:
- Crane Operator – 100T
- Crane Operator – 75T
- Side Boom Operator
- Boom Truck Operator
- Man Basket Truck Operator
- Telehandler Operator
- Forklift Operator
- Vacuum Pipe Handler – 12.5T
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Crane or Lifting Equipment Operator.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Experience operating any of the listed lifting equipment is required.
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
- Must have knowledge of lifting safety procedures, load handling, and equipment operation standards.
- Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
- Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or work records.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site and industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned lifting equipment safely and efficiently according to lifting plans and site requirements.
- Perform lifting, positioning, loading, unloading, and transport of materials and equipment.
- Ensure all lifting operations are carried out in compliance with approved procedures, load charts, and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure equipment is in proper working condition before use.
- Identify and report mechanical faults, defects, or safety hazards immediately.
- Coordinate closely with riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and ground personnel during lifting operations.
- Safely maneuver equipment in various site conditions, including confined spaces and uneven terrain.
- Ensure proper setup, stabilization, and load securing before any lifting activity.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
