The Grand Resort is seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Workers to join its team in the Cook Islands. The successful candidates will perform a variety of general construction duties, including site preparation, material handling, concrete work, and assisting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role is ideal for applicants with experience in general construction or skilled trades. First-time overseas workers are welcome to apply.

CONSTRUCTION WORKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in construction or a related field.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• First-time overseas workers are welcome to apply.
• Experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, steel fixing, electrical work, plumbing, or welding is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various working conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations.
• Load, unload, transport, and store construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Remove debris, waste materials, and hazardous items to maintain a safe and clean worksite.
• Assemble, install, and dismantle temporary structures, barricades, and scaffolding.
• Mix, pour, and assist in finishing concrete for construction projects.
• Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, painters, steel fixers, and welders with their daily tasks.
• Support the transport, setup, and safe operation of construction machinery and equipment.
• Follow work instructions and perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Observe workplace health and safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project.
