Chef de Partie (Sushi)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience as a Sushi Chef or Chef de Partie in sushi preparation
- Strong experience in sushi preparation and handling all aspects of a sushi bar
- Familiarity with kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Ability to prepare different kinds of sushi and manage sushi section mise en place
- Skilled in proper sushi rolling techniques
- Good English communication skills and understanding
- No specific minimum educational attainment required, but relevant experience and culinary skill are mandatory
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Manage the sushi section, including mise en place, ingredient preparation, and proper rolling techniques
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, particularly in the sushi bar
- Deliver high-end table service in compliance with Saudi hospitality standards and restaurant protocols
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, maintaining a “guest-first” attitude
- Present menus, describe dishes in detail, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet service demands while maintaining quality and presentation standards
