Sisban Trofi Food Company is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie – Bakery / Pastry to manage and operate an assigned bakery and pastry section in a professional kitchen. The successful candidate should have at least two years of local experience in the same field and be capable of producing high-quality baked goods and pastries while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards.

CHEF DE PARTIE (BAKERY / PASTRY)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of local experience in the same field.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie specializing in bakery or pastry is preferred.
• Must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Strong knowledge of bakery and pastry preparation techniques.
• Experience in bread, pastry, cake, and dessert production.
• Good knowledge of baking equipment and commercial kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and presentation.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a professional kitchen.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willing to be assigned in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce a variety of bakery and pastry products according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Take responsibility for the assigned bakery and pastry section and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately for breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products.
• Mix, knead, shape, proof, and bake dough according to product specifications.
• Prepare pastry creams, fillings, icings, glazes, sauces, and other pastry components.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking temperatures and times to ensure consistent product quality.
• Ensure proper portioning, appearance, texture, flavor, and presentation of bakery and pastry products.
• Decorate and finish cakes, pastries, and other desserts according to established standards.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products.
• Monitor inventory and report ingredient shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Minimize food waste through accurate measuring, portioning, and proper storage.
• Assist in training and guiding commis chefs and junior bakery/pastry staff when required.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely preparation and delivery of products.
• Assist with menu development, recipe standardization, and new bakery or pastry products when required.
• Perform opening and closing duties and other tasks assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
