CAREGIVER / PERSONAL CAREWORKER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must have a TESDA NC II Caregiving Certificate.
• At least 2 years of relevant caregiving or healthcare support experience.
• Experience caring for elderly, disabled, convalescent, or recovering patients is preferred.
• Knowledge of personal hygiene care, ambulation, mobility assistance, feeding, and basic bedside care.
• Compassionate, patient, responsible, and respectful toward clients.
• Good observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and reliable care to elderly persons, individuals with disabilities, convalescents, and clients recovering from illness or injury in their homes or care facilities.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with safe ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning according to the client’s condition and care plan.
• Provide bedside and personal care while respecting the client’s privacy, dignity, comfort, and preferences.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and other routine daily needs as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Observe and monitor clients’ physical condition, behavior, and general well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided.
• Report changes in the client’s condition, unusual symptoms, or concerns promptly to the manager or supervisor.
• Follow established care procedures, safety protocols, and company standards at all times.
