BODYSHOP and PAINT QUALITY CONTROLLER (WORKSHOP WORKER)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Must be a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate holder in a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in automotive Bodyshop, vehicle repair, collision repair, or restoration is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and restoration processes and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of workshop productivity, utilization, and workflow management.
- Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Able to monitor multiple repair jobs and meet customer deadlines.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Bodyshop workshop.
- Ensure efficient workflow and smooth coordination of vehicle repair and restoration activities.
- Monitor workshop utilization, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
- Supervise repair and restoration work to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
- Inspect vehicles at different stages of the repair and restoration process.
- Ensure repairs are completed according to approved specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed within the estimated time provided to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians, estimators, service advisors, and other workshop personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Identify repair quality issues, delays, and operational concerns and take appropriate corrective action.
- Conduct final quality checks before vehicles are released to customers.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain cleanliness and organization within the workshop.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address workshop-related concerns when required.
- Prepare and maintain workshop reports, repair records, and productivity information.
- Perform other supervisory and Bodyshop-related duties as assigned.
