Focus Australia Migration Services is seeking experienced and skilled Boat Repairers for deployment to Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting marine vessels and engine systems while ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and operational reliability.

BOAT REPAIRER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant experience in marine engine repair and boat maintenance.
• Strong experience working with marine engines, including outboard and inboard systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment effectively.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems on boats.
• Skills in fiberglass repair, welding, or metal fabrication are considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as chopper guns.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a marine workshop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine vessels and engine systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on boats and marine equipment.
• Conduct servicing and maintenance for outboard and inboard marine engines.
• Operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power equipment safely and efficiently.
  Carry out fiberglass repairs, welding, and fabrication work as required.
• Inspect vessels and components to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with operational standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and workshop areas.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and company operational procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technical teams to complete repair work efficiently and on schedule.
