Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Applicants with TESDA NC II training are accepted.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing, espresso preparation, milk steaming, and espresso machine operation.
• Familiarity with different coffee beverages and standard beverage preparation techniques.
• Able to operate and properly maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper beverage handling.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and consistency.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee drinks, teas, and other hot or cold beverages according to standard recipes and quality standards.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing equipment, and other beverage preparation tools safely and correctly.
• Prepare espresso shots and ensure proper coffee extraction, taste, and presentation.
• Steam and froth milk properly for different coffee beverages.
• Prepare beverages according to customer preferences and specific requests.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
• Answer customer questions regarding the menu, beverages, ingredients, and available options.
• Provide suitable beverage recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Process cash and digital payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) register system.
• Maintain accurate order and payment transactions.
• Keep the barista station clean, sanitized, organized, and ready for service.
• Clean and properly maintain espresso machines, grinders, counters, utensils, and beverage preparation equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer seating and service areas as assigned.
• Monitor levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, tea, and other beverage supplies.
• Restock ingredients, cups, packaging materials, and other supplies as needed.
• Assist with inventory monitoring and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Store coffee beans, ingredients, and other supplies properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Minimize product waste through proper preparation, portioning, storage, and handling.
• Work closely with other baristas, service crew, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform opening, closing, and other routine duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies, beverage preparation standards, and customer service procedures.
• Perform other barista and food-service duties assigned by management.
