Gastronomica General Trading Company is seeking skilled and energetic Barista/Bartender professionals to join its growing Food & Beverage team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized beverage station in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Barista/Bartender
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista, Bartender, or in a related Food & Beverage role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage mixing, and customer service standards.
- Ability to prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty beverages, mocktails, and other refreshments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be presentable, professional, and customer-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Strong multitasking and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working abroad is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, mocktails, and other drinks according to company standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage preparation areas.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, beverages, glassware, and bar supplies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Coordinate with restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service operations.
- Follow company procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere for guests.
