Cooperante D.O.O. is seeking skilled Automotive Painters to join its automotive repair and refinishing team in Croatia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, applying automotive paint coatings, and performing finishing work to restore vehicles to high-quality standards while following safety and quality procedures.
AUTOMOTIVE PAINTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Automotive Painter.
- At least a Vocational Diploma or Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of auto body repair, surface preparation, automotive painting, and finishing processes.
- Experience using spray painting equipment and automotive refinishing materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix and match automotive paints according to manufacturer specifications and color codes.
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray painting equipment.
- Inspect painted surfaces and perform polishing, buffing, and finishing to achieve a high-quality appearance.
- Repair minor surface imperfections before painting.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and work tools in good operating condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ensure completed work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
