AUTO TECHNICIAN (BRANDED CAR DEALERSHIP)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience as an Auto Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
- Preferably with experience working in a dealership car company or branded automotive service center.
- Knowledgeable in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Skilled in identifying and documenting customer vehicle problems accurately.
- Familiar with automotive diagnostic tools, scanners, and workshop equipment.
- Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air-conditioning systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Physically fit and capable of working in automotive workshop environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical service team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic tools and inspection procedures.
- Identify, document, and report customer vehicle concerns and technical findings accurately.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacement of defective automotive parts and systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance services including oil changes, tune-ups, brake servicing, and fluid inspections.
- Inspect engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Perform road tests when necessary to confirm repairs and identify vehicle issues.
- Ensure all repair work complies with dealership quality standards and manufacturer procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, workshop equipment, and service areas.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with service advisors, supervisors, and fellow technicians to complete repair schedules efficiently.
