AUTO MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants only.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience as an Auto Mechanic.
  • Knowledgeable in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and computerized vehicle systems.
  • Ability to inspect and repair engines, brakes, suspension systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Good communication skills for explaining repair findings and maintenance requirements to customers.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in automotive workshop environments.
  • Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a repair and maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Perform diagnostic tests using computerized automotive diagnostic equipment.
  • Identify issues detected by the vehicle’s computer system and perform necessary repairs or updates.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance services such as oil changes, brake servicing, tune-ups, and fluid checks.
  • Communicate important repair and maintenance information to customers professionally.
  • Provide customers with estimated repair timelines and explain required maintenance procedures.
  • Repair or replace faulty automotive parts and components.
  • Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Follow workplace safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
