AUTO ELECTRICIAN

 Qualifications:

  • Male, not more than 40 years old.
  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a closely related automotive electrical position.
  • Experienced in automotive electrical installations.
  • Knowledgeable in LED auxiliary lights, aftermarket alternators, 12V electrical systems, battery chargers, and dual battery setups.
  • Strong background in vehicle wiring, electrical system integration, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
  • Ability to install and integrate aftermarket electrical accessories into different vehicle systems.
  • Skilled in using automotive electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of automotive wiring, charging systems, batteries, fuses, relays, and electrical connections.
  • Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with mechanics and other workshop personnel.
  • Willingness to work on modified, off-road, camping, and overlanding vehicles.
  • Physically capable of performing hands-on automotive electrical work.
  • Safety-conscious and able to follow workshop procedures.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform automotive electrical installations, repairs, testing, and maintenance.
  • Install and configure LED auxiliary lights and other aftermarket lighting systems.
  • Install and maintain aftermarket alternators and related charging components.
  • Work on 12V electrical systems, including wiring, connections, protection, and accessories.
  • Install battery chargers and charging equipment according to vehicle requirements.
  • Install and configure dual battery systems for off-road, camping, and overlanding vehicles.
  • Perform vehicle wiring and electrical system integration for aftermarket accessories.
  • Route, secure, terminate, and protect electrical wiring to ensure reliable operation.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Inspect wiring, connectors, fuses, relays, switches, batteries, alternators, and other electrical components.
  • Identify short circuits, voltage drops, loose connections, damaged wiring, and other electrical problems.
  • Test newly installed electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Integrate multiple aftermarket electrical accessories into existing vehicle electrical systems.
  • Follow wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components as required.
  • Ensure electrical installations are neat, secure, properly insulated, and protected from heat, moisture, and vibration.
  • Maintain tools and electrical equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow workshop safety procedures and proper electrical safety practices.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and fabricators during vehicle modification and accessory installation.
  • Communicate effectively in English regarding technical instructions, troubleshooting, and completed work.
