ANIMAL NUTRITIONIST

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as an Animal Nutritionist or related agricultural specialist.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of livestock and aquaculture nutrition.
  • Experience in feed formulation and nutritional program development.
  • Knowledge of animal feed ingredients, nutrient requirements, and feed evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective business and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate nutritionally balanced feeds for livestock and aquaculture products.
  • Design feeding programs for poultry, swine, and other farm animals to maximize health, growth, and productivity.
  • Analyze the nutritional value and quality of feed ingredients and finished feed products.
  • Provide technical advice and support to farmers, production teams, and customers regarding animal nutrition and feeding practices.
  • Support factory operations through feed formulation improvements and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in product development initiatives for new feed products and nutritional solutions.
  • Conduct research and evaluate feed performance, animal growth, and production efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports, nutritional analyses, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Collaborate with production, technical services, sales, and commercial teams to support business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends, innovations, and regulatory developments related to animal nutrition.
