Sisban Trofi Food Company is seeking an experienced Clay Oven & Pizza Maker to prepare and cook pizza and other baked products using traditional clay or tandoor-style ovens. The successful candidate should have hands-on experience in the same field and be capable of maintaining consistent food quality, proper preparation techniques, and safe kitchen operations.
CLAY OVEN & PIZZA MAKER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have at least 2 years of local experience in the same or related field.
- Must have experience in clay oven and pizza preparation/cooking.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent four-year undergraduate course graduate.
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, topping preparation, and pizza baking techniques.
- Experience operating clay ovens, tandoor-style ovens, or commercial pizza ovens.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and able to work around high-temperature cooking equipment.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Male applicants are preferred for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough and other ingredients according to established recipes and production requirements.
- Prepare and portion pizza toppings, sauces, cheese, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Shape and stretch pizza dough to achieve the required size and thickness.
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes, specifications, and customer orders.
- Operate and monitor clay ovens and pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
- Control oven temperature and cooking time to achieve properly baked pizzas.
- Cook pizzas evenly while maintaining the required texture, appearance, and taste.
- Monitor food quality and ensure all products meet established standards.
- Maintain proper food storage, ingredient handling, and stock rotation procedures.
- Keep the clay oven, kitchen equipment, utensils, preparation areas, and workstation clean and sanitary.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service.
- Perform routine checks of ovens and cooking equipment and report any problems to the supervisor.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as required.
