AIRPORT DUTY MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Professional certification in Aviation, Airport Operations, or Managemen
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aviation ground operations.
• Knowledge of DCS , Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, Dangerous Goods Regulation.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices related to ground operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily airport operations, acting as the primary liaison between airport service providers and airport users.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
• Ensure all passenger and aircraft handling activities comply with established safety and security standards.
• Supervise and manage shift manpower to optimize resource utilization while maintaining team morale and discipline.
• Conduct routine spot-checks to ensure service standards and operational procedures are upheld.
• Handle customer issues and complaints efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments, including Customer Relations, for timely resolutions.
• Lead shift briefings and provide operational updates to GHA and internal supervisors.
• Prepare comprehensive station handling reports for the Airport Manager on a per-shift / daily basis.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
