ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Professional certification such as CFA, CIMA, ACCA, or CA is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with managerial or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT laws, and corporate accounting practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, Company Act, and internal policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Supervise and guide accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors and handle internal and external audit requirements.
- Monitor financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of financial data.
