Accountant (CPA & Fast-Moving Consumer Goods experience)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory accounting in retail and distribution of FMCG.
• Experienced in management information systems such as Oracle, Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc
• Experience in auditing, general accounts.
• Degree or other qualification in accounting with active CPA registration
• Able to train up staff and enforce company rules and regulations.
• Well organized and active attitude.
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the Company accounts, following proper procedures and policies of the directors.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and statutory bodies.
• Prepare budgets, manage cashflow and monitor performance against budget.
• Costing and tracking of inventory.
• Ensure accurate records and data entry of stock movement, cash sales and other performance data.
• Conduct regular audits for all departments.
• Train national accounts staff to a high professional standard in all sections – payroll, accounts receivable, payable, audit.
• Prepare periodic financial statements in accordance with recognized accounting standards.
• Maintain asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Regular audits of costs, income and operational costs for each department and branch of the company.
