Commissioning / Protection Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in commissioning and protection systems.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning protection relays and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and protection settings.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
Responsibilities:
- Test, commission, and calibrate protection relays and associated control systems.
- Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to execute commissioning tasks accurately.
- Verify correct operation of protection devices and control circuits in accordance with specifications.
- Document commissioning and testing results, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with engineers and site personnel to ensure smooth integration of protection systems.
- Identify and report issues or non-compliances, proposing corrective actions.
- Ensure safety compliance during all commissioning and testing activities.
