Job Vacancy: Hygiene Supervisor

Job Location: Kuwait

Refreshment Trading Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Hygiene Supervisor to ensure the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety across operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing hygiene policies, monitoring compliance, and supporting teams to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment in line with local and international standards. 

Hygiene Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a hygiene or food safety role, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or catering industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience working in Kuwait or the GCC is an advantage.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food safety programs across all assigned areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, HACCP, ISO, and Kuwait Municipality regulations.
  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Train and supervise staff on hygiene practices, personal hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and pest control activities.
  • Investigate hygiene-related issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate hygiene records, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance, operations, and external auditors as required.
    Ensure proper use, storage, and control of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
