Junior High School Mathematics Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s or college degree in Education, Teaching, Training, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Master’s Degree (S2) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Must be familiar with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary (IGCSE) Mathematics Curriculum.
• Must demonstrate an engaging, student-centered teaching approach that builds strong mathematical foundations and encourages active participation, independent thinking, and confidence in learning.
• Must have strong classroom management, lesson planning, assessment, and digital literacy skills.
• Must be a collaborative and professional team player committed to student well-being, continuous improvement, and academic excellence.
• Must have the ability to teach Mathematics at both Junior High School and Senior High School levels.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to Junior High School students following the school’s curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, interactive, and well-structured Mathematics lessons.
• Teach Senior High School Mathematics in accordance with the IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A-Level curricula.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A-Level Mathematics examinations.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, classroom activities, and assessment tools.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Build students’ mathematical foundations, problem-solving abilities, and independent thinking skills.
• Encourage active classroom participation and develop students’ confidence in learning Mathematics.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to support student well-being and academic excellence.
• Apply digital tools and appropriate teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
