Global Talent Professionals in partnership with Omanfil is urgently looking for:

Fixed Plant Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Diesel Fitter Mechanic
• Experience with mobile plant mechanics maintain, test, and repair diesel engines and mechanical parts of mobile plant equipment as dozer, loaders, front end loaders and etc. (980M, PC850, 325C, 349M)
• Has documents to support your visa application.
• Excellent in English Communication skills
• Overseas experience is an advantage

Responsibilities:

•  Carry out maintenance and repair of MCS plant and equipment, as required.
• Maintain fleet to comply with the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation scheme.
• Record any maintenance and repairs carried out on MCS plant and equipment as required
  by internal procedures.
• Communicate regularly with truck drivers regarding any mechanical issues.
• Ensure the workshop is clean and tidy and all equipment is available and in good working
  order.
• Use correct maintenance procedures to ensure a safe workplace in accordance with MCS
  policies and procedures.
• Ensure repairs are carried out safely and without injury to yourself or other personnel, and
  that PPE is warn at all times.
• Work safely and adhere to all established MCS safety policies.
• Dispose of used oils and chemicals correctly.
• Provide preventative maintenance to ensure minimal down time on all plant and equipment.
• Report any damage, incidents or unsafe equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor immediately.
• Carry out all additional duties (within competencies) as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Knowledgeable to perform and maintain measuring and calibration equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to understand instructions from management
• Ability to communicate with and contribute positively to the MCS team
