Sawaco Water Desalination is seeking a highly skilled Water Tank Worker (Senior Mechanical Technician) with extensive experience in Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant operations. The ideal candidate will specialize in high-pressure systems, pump maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure efficient and continuous plant operations.

Water Tank Worker (Senior Mechanical Technician)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in RO plants
• At least 3 years of specialized experience in:
  • Multistage centrifugal pumps
  • Turbocharger/PX systems
  • Membrane pressure vessel maintenance
• Proven experience in:
  • Mechanical seal replacements (50+ instances)
  • Precision alignment (≤0.05 mm tolerance)
  • Emergency breakdown response
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work under pressure in critical plant operations
• Knowledge of safety and maintenance procedures in desalination plants
• Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems in RO desalination plants
• Operate and service multistage centrifugal pumps (800+ psi)
• Maintain and troubleshoot turbocharger and PX (pressure exchanger) systems
• Perform membrane pressure vessel maintenance and servicing
• Conduct mechanical seal replacements and precision alignment (≤0.05 mm tolerance)
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance
• Ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety of plant equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
