Mechanical Technician

Qualifications:

  • Should have related working experience as machinists/ welders/ fabricators.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant and practical experience in Equipment maintenance in the steel or manufacturing industries.
  • Vocational Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Engineering or any other qualifications in related field.
  • With Valid TESDA NC2 National Certificate

Responsibilities:

  • Main hoist, Boom hoist, and catenary wire ropes replacing work
  • Trolley and catenary wheels and bearings replacing work.
  • Main hoist, Gantry, and Trolley reducers Repair work.
  • Trolley, catenary guide rollers replacing work.
  • Troubleshooting to hydraulics and mechanical faults.
  • Brake unit repair work.
  • Main hoist sheaves replacing work.
  • Spreader maintenance and troubleshooting faults.
  • Hydraulic pumps repair work
  • Engine TOP-FULL Overhauling.
  • Engine Front and Rear seal change.
  • Engine Coolant system CMT.
  • Engine Bearing Replacement.
  • Engine Evaluating and testing engine injectors.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in Mechanical systems. Troubleshooting
    skills and breakdown (BDN) analysis for further control of BDN
